We rated it 3 stars, and here's why. The journey to this picturesque spot is nothing short of exhilarating! Navigating the steep inclines, sharp turns, and narrow roads in a large motorcoach is what we call a “white knuckle adventure.” But trust us, the moment you arrive, you'll feel an overwhelming sense of relief and joy—so much so, you might just want to kiss the ground in celebration!

While the location's remote nature means fewer dining and entertainment options outside the resort, the nearby waterfalls and lake are perfect for some local exploration. Although Mountain Falls doesn’t have an on-site dining option, fear not! There's a delightful Italian pizza shop right next door that we absolutely loved. For those planning longer stays, we recommend prepping meals in advance or being ready for a scenic drive to other dining spots. Just a heads-up: navigating those mountain roads after sunset adds an extra layer of excitement!

We'd give this a million stars if we could! Site 74 was absolutely incredible, nestled in the lower half of the resort. It boasted a covered pavilion with a fabulous outdoor living space and a chef's kitchen. Our dog Chloe absolutely adored lounging outside. We were perfectly situated across from the 8th hole of the golf course, and we loved watching golfers from our coach.

Mountain Falls is a treasure trove of breathtaking sites, each more captivating than the last. The resort is split into two main sections: the lower half, where we stayed, and "The Ridge," located on the upper part of the property. While the lower half is undeniably stunning, The Ridge is something truly extraordinary. With multi-million-dollar lots perched high above, The Ridge offers jaw-dropping views of the surrounding mountains. It’s not just the scenery that makes The Ridge special—if you're lucky you might even spot a celebrity soaking in the luxurious surroundings!

One of the most remarkable aspects of Mountain Falls is the individuality and creativity of its lots. When a lot is purchased, owners have the chance to personalize and build upon it. As we explored the resort, we were blown away by the variety of designs on display. Some owners choose simple, elegant outdoor seating areas, while others pull out all the stops with outdoor kitchens, luxury pavilions, or cozy casitas. For those seeking the ultimate in indulgence, there are even large, opulent houses.
