Exciting News: We Brought Home Our New RV!

What a whirlwind of a day it has been! Just yesterday, I wrote about our anticipation and the hurdles we faced with our soon-to-be new RV. We were informed that there were several issues that needed fixing, and we wouldn’t be able to take it home just yet. But fast forward to this morning at Blue Compass — everything took a turn for the better!

We arrived to good news: all the problems had been resolved! The hot water was running in the coach again, and we were finally able to close the deal and bring our new RV home. After the rollercoaster of emotions, it felt surreal to finally have the keys in our hands.

The team at Blue Compass was simply amazing. They made what could have been a stressful experience a smooth one. Their diligence and commitment to customer satisfaction truly stood out, making today not just a reveal of our RV but a celebration of teamwork and support.

Now, the real adventure begins! It’s been an exhausting day filled with excitement as we load up our RV with all the gear and essentials we've been purchasing in preparation for our journeys ahead. We’re gearing up for our first trip next week, and the thrill of travel is bubbling inside us!

Next, we will bring the RV back in on Monday for them to set up the flat tow with our vehicle. After that, we’ll be all set for the open road. I have to admit, there’s a lot to learn — including how to drive this humongous bus! For now, Tom will take the wheel while I soak in the experience as a co-pilot.

Chloe got her first look at the inside today, and, as you can see in the picture below, she wasted no time navigating right to the bed! It’s clear she’s ready for this adventure too.

We can’t wait to see where the journey takes us. There will be plenty of blogs to come as we share our travel experiences, tips, and the adventures we have. Here’s to new beginnings and the road ahead!
