Our New RV Lot Purchase at Lake Greenwood Motorcoach Resort

We are thrilled to announce the purchase of our new RV lot at Lake Greenwood Motorcoach Resort in Cross Hill, South Carolina! After closing on Tuesday, we arrived Wednesday evening to hook up and spend a few days here before heading off to our next trip.

A Journey Sparked by Challenges

In a previous post, we shared the challenges we faced with RV lot storage, including the last-minute closure of our original storage place. It was stressful to find ourselves scrambling for options, especially since we love our RV and didn’t want to give it up. We were fortunate to find a temporary solution just 10 minutes from our house, but this experience sparked our journey to find and purchase our own RV lot.

Discovering Lake Greenwood Motorcoach Resort

Several weeks ago, we visited Lake Greenwood and instantly fell in love with the peaceful property and the welcoming community. The moment we drove through the gates, it was as if we had found our little slice of paradise. It was clear to us that this was the perfect place to make our first RV lot purchase.

Owning lakefront property has always been a dream of mine, and now it’s a reality! While Tom wasn’t initially a lake person, this magical place has completely changed his perspective. It’s true what they say; a great environment can transform the way you feel about something.

Plans for Our Outdoor Oasis

Our plan is to store the RV here for most of the year and visit as often as possible, as it’s only an hour from our house. We’re not selling our home, but this lakefront property will be our happy place for weekends and vacations. The stress and worries of life seem to melt away the moment we step foot here.

We’re excited to start designing and building our outdoor oasis. Our vision includes a cozy seating area, outdoor kitchen and fireplace under our pavillion with a deck off the side for a glimpse of the lake across the street. All of this is contingent upon our design being approved by the HOA.

Embracing Lake Life with Our Pets

The pups are already loving lake life. Chloe enjoys her long walks and rabbit-chasing adventures, while the boys are settling into RV life.

One of the best parts about having this property is that we can involve our pets in our adventures. As we explore the trails and the lake, we are making memories together as a family. It’s heartwarming to see how quickly they have adjusted to this new setting.

We're looking forward to the cooler fall weather to fully enjoy our time here. The leaf changes around Lake Greenwood are known to be breathtaking, and we can’t wait to experience this seasonal transformation.
