This past weekend, we embarked on our first-ever camping adventure in our new RV, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to enjoy this experience than the Hilton Head National RV Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, the exceptional staff, and the overall ambiance of the resort. After an unforgettable stay, we are excited to give it a five out of five star rating across all categories!

What truly stood out to us was the dedicated 21 and older section, the Water's Edge, where we upgraded our stay. This exclusive area provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation, free from the hustle and bustle of family noise, enabling us to fully enjoy our time together. However, it’s worth noting that if you're traveling with kids, the resort is also incredibly family-friendly. We saw so many children making new friends, riding their bikes, and participating in activities throughout the resort.

During our stay, which coincided with Easter weekend, the resort offered an Easter egg hunt for children and a variety of activities that kept everyone engaged. We received text alerts notifying us of upcoming events, ensuring we didn't miss a beat. For the adults, there was even a golf tournament happening at the nearby course, adding to the excitement of our stay.

The location of the resort couldn’t be more perfect; just a stone’s throw away from the Tanger outlet stores across the street, and only a quick 10-minute drive to Hilton Head Island's stunning beaches—just cross the bridge, and you’re there! Whether you want to explore the local shops or soak up the sun by the ocean, everything is conveniently close.

For those who prefer to enjoy a meal on-site, the resort boasts an excellent restaurant and bars. While we loved cooking most of our meals on our grill, we treated ourselves to the on-site dining experience on a few evenings and were not disappointed.

In summary, our stay at the Hilton Head National RV Resort was everything we had hoped for and more. This resort has made a lasting impression on us, and we can’t wait to return for more adventures in the future. We had an amazing stay at the Hilton Head National RV Resort! This hidden gem is conveniently located just off I-95, making it incredibly easy to access, even for big rigs. The direct access to the highway means no complicated navigation, which is a huge plus for RV travelers. 

What really sets this resort apart is its proximity to all the shopping and dining options you could desire. Within just a 10-minute drive, you're immersed in the vibrant local scene and the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island. Whether you're looking for a cozy restaurant or unique local shops, everything is easily accessible!

Overall, the location is perfect for those wanting a balance of convenience and relaxation. We can't recommend Hilton Head National RV Resort enough for anyone traveling in the area!

Site Quality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The quality of accommodations at Hilton Head National RV Resort is absolutely top-notch! Each site is beautifully maintained and generously sized, coming equipped with full hookups that are uniquely designed with podiums for your electric, water, and sewage connections. This thoughtful setup makes for a hassle-free camping experience.

I was particularly impressed with the paved sites, which provide a clean and even surface for parking. Each site also features a patio area with a chair, table, and a cozy fire pit, all beautifully surrounded by lush grass and tropical landscaping. It truly creates a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

For those traveling with friends, the buddy sites are a fantastic feature, allowing two campers to share one lot. This setup enhances the sense of community and makes it easy to enjoy your time together while still having your own space.

There was an incredible array of amenities available on-site! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the well-maintained facilities and the multitude of options for relaxation and recreation.

The resort features not just one, but two beautiful pools, including a lazy river that was perfect for a leisurely day in the sun. They had basketball and pickleball courts which were very popular.  Guest also had access to the Hilton Head National Golf course which is located on site. We loved that there was a dog park and even a dog washing station, making it easy for our furry friend to enjoy the getaway as well.

Multiple laundry facilities were convenient, and the state-of-the-art gym made it easy to keep up with our fitness routines. There are two beautiful club houses which had a store and restaurant on-site. The main club house is also where you can rent golf carts and electric bikes for your stay. Walking paths were located throughout the resort which we enjoyed taking the dogs for a walk and getting to see the true beauty of the resort. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The two bars were perfect for unwinding in the evenings, offering a great selection of drinks.

One of the highlights was the exclusive 21 and older section called The Waters Edge where we stayed, complete with its own pool, hot tub, club house, laundry facility and bar – a perfect retreat for adults looking for a peaceful escape. This area sits on the water with incredible views of the Hilton Head National Golf course.

Overall, the amenities at Hilton Head National RV Resort exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return to this amazing resort for another fantastic getaway!

Our stay at Hilton Head National RV Resort was made even more enjoyable thanks to the outstanding staff and service we experienced throughout our visit. Every person we interacted with was not only friendly but also genuinely committed to making our stay as pleasant as possible.

From the moment we checked in, the woman at the service desk impressed us with her extensive knowledge and willingness to assist. She took the time to explain everything we needed to know, ensuring that we felt comfortable and informed.

The escorts who assisted us to our site were incredibly helpful, guiding us through the parking and setup process with ease – especially as it was our first time. Their friendly demeanor made the experience seamless and stress-free.

In the restaurant and bar areas, we encountered the same level of service. The bartenders and restaurant crew were exceptionally nice and attentive, enhancing our dining experience with warm smiles and excellent service.

During our stay at Hilton Head National RV Resort, we had the opportunity to test out the Wi-Fi connectivity provided by the resort, and I must say, we were pleasantly surprised! While we typically travel with our own internet service through Net All Over for its speed and privacy, we decided to give the resort's Wi-Fi a chance.

We found that the Wi-Fi offered by Hilton Head National RV Resort was very good. I took advantage of the network when I was away from our coach, and I experienced no issues at all. The connection was reliable, allowing me to stay connected without any interruptions, which is especially important for those who might need to keep up with work or stay in touch with family.

Full disclosure: while we appreciated the resort's Wi-Fi, we still preferred our own service for its faster speeds and private connection. However, for guests who may not have their own internet option, the resort's Wi-Fi is certainly a solid choice.

Overall, the Wi-Fi connectivity at Hilton Head National RV Resort deserves a five-star rating for its quality and reliability. We were impressed and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay connected during their visit!

Value for Money⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are thrilled to give Hilton Head National RV Resort a five-star rating for value for money! Given the incredible range of amenities and the luxurious experience the resort provides, we found the pricing to be extremely reasonable.

We upgraded our stay to the Water’s Edge 21+ area which runs $161 - $171 per night depending if you want a water/golf view. While that view is incredible its not a great option for us since we have dogs and Alligators are a real threat in Hilton Head, SC. We opted to stay back from the water and our rate was $161per night. The rates for the resort run $111 - $171 per night depending on the type of site you select.

When comparing our stay to what we would typically pay for an Airbnb or a high-end hotel with similar amenities, the value at this resort is outstanding. Here, we had the unique advantage of bringing our home with us while enjoying all the luxury amenities the resort has to offer.

While it's true that the pricing is higher than what you might expect at a typical campsite or a KOA, it’s important to note that you won’t find the same level of amenities and luxury at those other places. The wealth of options available—such as multiple pools, a state-of-the-art gym, on-site dining, and so much more—truly enhances the overall experience.

We felt we got so much more for our money at Hilton Head National RV Resort, and we wouldn’t hesitate to pay a little extra for the luxury and convenience it provides. For anyone seeking an exceptional RV resort experience, this place offers unparalleled value, making it well worth the price! We cannot recommend it enough!

We are absolutely delighted to give Hilton Head National RV Resort five stars for being exceptionally pet-friendly! Honestly, if we could give 10 stars, we would! This resort truly goes above and beyond in catering to our four-legged friends, making it a paradise for pets and their owners.

The dedicated dog park is one of the nicest we’ve ever seen, with beautifully manicured grass instead of dirt, creating a clean and enjoyable space for our dogs to play. The agility courses within the dog runs were an added bonus, offering fun challenges for our pups to engage with.

We were particularly impressed by the dog bathing stations, which were extremely clean and smelled fresh, making it easy to pamper our pets after a day of fun. It was heartwarming to see so many dogs at the resort; it seemed like nearly every campsite had at least one furry friend, and everyone was so sociable.

The walking paths around the resort perimeter provided a great way to take our dogs for a stroll while meeting and socializing with other campers and their pets. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, making our experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, Hilton Head National RV Resort is a dream destination for pet owners, and we couldn't have asked for a better environment for our dogs to thrive. We highly recommend this resort for anyone traveling with pets – it truly is a pet-friendly haven!

We are thrilled to award Hilton Head National RV Resort a five-star rating for luxury! This resort truly goes above and beyond in creating a lavish experience for its guests, especially in the dedicated 21 and older Water's Edge area where we chose to upgrade our stay. It was an excellent decision for us, as we were traveling without kids and solely with our dogs.

The exclusivity of the Water's Edge area provided us with a serene environment where we didn’t have to worry about noise and distractions. With our own pool, hot tub, and clubhouse, we felt like we were in our own private oasis, complete with beautiful views of the water and direct sights of the golf course. The laid-back atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable, allowing us to relax in style.

It's important to note that even if you're traveling with family and kids, the non-exclusive areas of the resort also offer a luxurious experience. Families can enjoy a wonderful pool complete with a lazy river and all the same amenities found in the 21+ area. While the only difference may be the water views of the golf course, there are plenty of other beautiful landscapes available for families to appreciate as well.

The range of amenities offered enhances the luxury factor at Hilton Head National RV Resort. From stunning landscaping to top-notch facilities, everything was designed with attention to detail, which truly elevated the experience.
